On View Through Apr. 23
Visit The Western Sights of Jo Mora, on view in the Wiegand Gallery before it closes this month! Joseph Jacinto “Jo” Mora (1876-1947) created some of the most recognizable works documenting the Western United States, its people, and its landscapes, including his intricately detailed cartes (illustrated maps), famed Budgee Budgee Cottontail illustrations, and the recognizable Sweetheart of the Rodeo image used as the 1968 album cover for the Byrds.
See more of Mora’s detailed etchings, illustrated maps, watercolor paintings, bronze sculptures, and stories on view in the Wiegand Gallery.
