Singer-songwriter and Jo Mora fan Mike Beck will perform an acoustic solo show in the G Three Bar Theater.

Cowboy singer-songwriter (and Jo Mora fan) Mike Beck draws from his own experience as a horseman in his acclaimed Western Americana songwriting, which he complements with his guitar wizardry. Ramblin’ Jack Elliot says, “Mike Beck plays the guitar like a Byrd. His strings do things that mine could never do. They obey the slightest finger-touch commands like a fine Reining Horse.” Check out this 2019 video of Mike Beck singing “In Old California.”

Join us before the concert at 5:30 pm for a free guided gallery tour of The Western Sights of Jo Mora exhibit.

Top off the Mora-themed evening of music and art by ordering a draft of Buckaroo Brew at the Western Folklife Center’s historic Pioneer Saloon. In honor of the occasion, we’ll be tapping a keg of this Ruby Mountain Brewery’s draft that features Jo Mora label art.
