Temple Grandin: The Movie
Great Basin College Theater
January 24 starting at 7:00 pm. Free to the public. The Emmy® award-winning movie on the life of scientist, university professor, world-renowned author and autism advocate Dr. Temple Grandin: starring actors Claire Danes, Catherine O'Hara, Julia Ormond and David Strathairn.View the college map for directions.

Cowboy Ranch Competition at the Spring Creek Horse Palace
Located at 670 Bronco Drive in Spring Creek (off Lamoille Highway) at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 26. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children. For more information call Jerry Jones at 775-738-8240.

Great Basin College Art Gallery
Two exhibits will be showing during the 30th Gathering: Of Time & Place: Lara Alberti and Geographical Divides. The Gallery is located in the Leonard Center for Student Life on the Great Basin College campus, 1500 College Parkway, Chilton Circle. IFA Country Stores Cowboy Breakfast
Enjoy a Free Cowboy Breakfast at IFA on Friday, January 31 beginning at 8:00am. IFA is located past Albertson's off Idaho Street (be in the right turn lane as you pass Wilson-Bates, formerly Good Morning Furniture) at 390 30th Street.

National California Trail Interpretive Center:
Visit the California Trail Interpretive Center eight miles west of Elko on Interstate 80, exit 292 (Hunter). Experience life-size dioramas, original murals and exhibits on the pioneers and native peoples. Walk through a wagon encampment and see a Shoshone village. During the week of the Gathering, there will be readings of pioneer poetry and historical journals. Open every Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Free Admission. Northeastern Nevada Museum
Location: 1515 Idaho Street. Current exhibitions: Art of the West - Carmelo Ortiz de Elgea: Basque Painter in Nevada, with a VIP reception on Friday, January 31 from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Other artists exhibiting will be Patty Fox, David Kaiser and the newly-acquired Edward Borein Collection.   Museum hours are every Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Visit an Elko County Gold Mine
Nevada's one of the leading gold producers in the world, and northeastern Nevada is where it is happening. Newmont Mining Corporation will provide a free tour to one of their open pit gold mining operations on Wednesday, January 29, from 12:30pm - 4:00pm. Wild Women Artists: Go Pink!
Exhibits and Art Show at Duncan Little Creek Gallery, 518 Commercial Street. Reception on Friday, January 31 from 5:00-8:00pm. Kenny Walton's Cowboy Art and Gear Sale
Upstairs banquet room at Stockmen's Hotel and Casino, Thursday, January 30 beginning at 12:00pm; Friday, January 31 - Saturday, February 1, doors will open at 9:00am; closing time is 8:00pm all days. Friday and Saturday nights will feature a wet bar and open jam session from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

8th Annual Silver State Trade Show
Elko County Fairgrounds, 13th and Cedar Streets. Home of the exclusive rawhide exhibit, used saddle corral, bunkhouse cowboy artesian circle, Amanda's Saloon, and the New West Theater.
