Michael Martin Murphey has donated a special guitar to the Silent Auction!
A popular part of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is the Silent Auction that is held in the lobby of the Elko Convention Center. There is always a wide range of western objects on which to bid. All items are donated by our generous Western Folklife Center supporters and proceeds benefit the Folklife Center and it's premiere event, the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering.

Stop by the Silent Auction desk at the Elko Convention Center and sign up for a bidder number, then bid on these one-of-a-kind mementos of your National Cowboy Poetry Gathering experiences. You're sure to find something for yourself or a gift for a loved one.

Bidding opens Monday morning January 25, 2016, and closes at 5:30 pm Saturday, January 30, 2016. The list of successful bidders will be posted at 6:30 pm next to the Silent Auction Desk.

Keep an eye out for our our online auction and get your bid in on an Ultimate Western Experience package before January 30!

Consider contributing an item or experience to the silent auction. It's a great way to advertise your business and product while supporting the Gathering and other Western Folklife Center programs. Let your imagination and generosity run wild while you support cowboy poetry and culture, including original paintings and photographs, framed posters, carvings, jewelry, clothing, working gear, books, CDs and unique travel experiences.
