National Cowboy Poetry Gathering Silent Auction

Patty Fox watercolor glicee, Herding SheepA great part of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is wandering through the display cases at the silent auction and finding wonderful items that you want to take home with you. Each day as you return to the lobby of the Elko Convention Center, you can check on the status of your bid and keep the competition going.

Consider contributing an item or experience to the silent auction. Donations and questions should be directed to Dayleen Eiselein at 775-735-7508, (toll free: 888-880-5885) extension 222, or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Treasured auction items have included original artwork and handmade quilts, unique artist memorabilia, musical instruments, jewelry, photographs, handcrafted gear, vacation trips and other experiences. It's a great way to advertise your business and product while supporting the Gathering and other Western Folklife Center programs. Let your imagination and generosity run wild while you support cowboy poetry and culture!

During the Gathering, stop by the Silent Auction Desk at the Elko Convention Center to sign up for a bid number. Bidding typically opens on the Monday beginning the Gathering, and it closes at 5:00 pm Saturday, the last day of the Gathering; the list of successful bidders will be posted at 6:30 pm next to the Silent Auction Desk.
