In the past, when Western Folklife Center staff members traveled around the western United States presenting programs, documenting traditional culture for our archives, and researching ideas and content for Folklife Center exhibits and media productions, we sent back postcards to keep our members and home staff up to date with where we'd been and with whom we'd been meeting.
