Audio production in progressThe revolution in digital technology has made the tools of storytelling more accessible and less expensive. The Western Folklife Center’s Deep West Video program is a perfect example of how rural westerners can take part in this revolution, and tell stories about the beauty, drama and creativity that are elemental components of life in America’s outback. Audio is another powerful storytelling tool, and likewise has become more accessible to consumers. The Audio Production resource was adapted from a workshop that the Western Folklife Center’s Media Producer Taki Telonidis presented to the Association of Western States Folklorists in April 2012.
